Bentley Designers configure dream Continental GT

Ever wondered how the tastemakers at Bentley would specify their own Continental GT? In this blog, we ask Bentley’s top designers to specify their dream configuration on the new Bentley configurator.

Director of Design – Stefan Sielaff

Bentley’s Director of Design is a great admirer of all things British, and his configuration reflects. The exterior paint choice – Verdant – is a modern, metallic interpretation of British Racing Green, a colour well known for its use on Bentley race cars in the 1920s and 30s.

Inside, the quintessential British theme continues with Newmarket Tan, which is complemented by Cumbrian Green accents, with piping to the seats bringing a further element of craftsmanship.

Head of Interior Design and Colour and Trim – Romulus Rost

For Romulus, Extreme Silver represents the perfect balance between elegance and sport.

As you would expect for the person responsible for Bentley’s interiors, the cabin is where it gets interesting. Burnt Oak is the hide of choice, for an understated yet confident look, with orange contrast stitching to make a sporting statement.

Utilising the Continental GT’s new split veneer, Romulus has selected Liquid Amber as a modern interpretation of wood veneer – perfectly accenting the Burnt Oak and Orange contrast stitching.

Meanwhile in the centre console Cotes de Geneve – a unique surface treatment taken from the luxury watch industry – embodies the ‘ultimate in automotive artistry’ for Romulus.

The code for Romulus’s configuration is E2HAAEZG, explore it in full here.

Head of Exterior Design – John Paul Gregory

JP recently attended a Continental GT customer event in Singapore, the display car there heavily influenced his choice. Peacock is a vibrant shade of metallic blue, and has been available in the Bentley colour palette since the 1970s – yet is still as relevant today. For this particular model the metallic paint shows the richness of the body sculpture perfectly.

Offsetting the vibrant blue exterior paint, 22-inch Mulliner Driving Specification wheels enhance the presence of the car, offset with red brake calipers.
