Overview

The new Supersports marks the return of one of Bentley’s most evocative nameplates, reimagined as the most driver-focused Continental GT ever created. Developed to celebrate 100 years since the original Super Sports, it introduces a radically purist philosophy - combining rear-wheel drive, a sub-two-tonne kerb weight and a strictly limited production of just 500 individually numbered examples.

For the first time in Continental GT history, Supersports adopts a rear-wheel drive layout, paired with a dedicated two-seat cabin and an uncompromising focus on driver engagement. The result is a bold reinterpretation of Bentley performance - prioritising agility, precision and connection without sacrificing craftsmanship or exclusivity.

Powertrain

At the heart of the new Supersports lies a pure internal combustion, non-hybrid 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine, delivering 666 PS and 800 Nm of torque - making it one of the highest power-density engines ever produced by Bentley.

Power is sent exclusively to the rear wheels via a redeveloped eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, offering sharper, more responsive gear changes. A full-length titanium Akrapovič exhaust system delivers an authentic and highly characterful V8 soundtrack, free from artificial enhancement.

The Supersports accelerates from 0-62 mph in approximately 3.7 seconds and reaches a top speed of around 192 mph. However, its defining characteristic is not outright speed but the immediacy and purity of its performance delivery.

Exterior Design

The Supersports presents the most purposeful and aerodynamically intense design ever applied to a Continental GT. Every exterior element is engineered with function in mind, contributing to increased downforce and reduced weight.

A new front bumper integrates the largest splitter ever fitted to a Bentley road car, supported by carbon fibre dive planes, sculpted side sills, fender blades, a rear diffuser and a fixed rear wing. Together, these elements generate more than 300 kg of additional downforce compared with a Continental GT Speed.

Extensive use of carbon fibre - including the roof panel - reduces weight while lowering the centre of gravity. New 22-inch lightweight forged wheels, developed in collaboration with Manthey Racing, reinforce the car’s performance-focused stance.

Interior Design

Inside, the Supersports introduces a focused two-seat cabin that reflects its driver-centric philosophy. The rear seats are removed and replaced with a carbon fibre and leather structural shell, enhancing rigidity while reducing mass.

New lightweight sports seats are positioned lower in the car and feature increased bolstering for enhanced support during dynamic driving. The interior combines leather, Dinamica and carbon fibre to create a purposeful yet refined environment.
Customers can specify monotone, duo-tone or tri-tone interior themes, alongside bespoke Mulliner options, ensuring each Supersports remains a unique expression of craftsmanship and individuality.

Technology

Technology in the Supersports is purpose-driven, prioritising driver interaction and performance optimisation. The recalibrated dual-clutch transmission, advanced ESC modes and bespoke drive dynamics settings allow drivers to tailor the car’s behaviour - from controlled precision to fully unassisted driving.

The configurable ESC system offers multiple levels of intervention, including a Dynamic Mode and a fully disabled setting, empowering the driver with complete control over the car’s rear-driven dynamics.

Dynamics

The Supersports delivers a step-change in Bentley dynamic capability. Its rear-wheel drive configuration, electronic limited-slip differential and torque vectoring system combine to provide exceptional agility and traction.

Chassis systems include twin-chamber dampers, rear-wheel steering, and Bentley Dynamic Ride - capable of delivering up to 1300 Nm of anti-roll torque in just 0.3 seconds. Together, these features produce sharper turn-in, improved balance and greater driver feedback.

With optional Pirelli Trofeo RS tyres, the Supersports achieves up to 1.3g of lateral acceleration and can corner approximately 30% faster than a Continental GT Speed. Combined with a weight below 2,000 kg - the lightest Bentley in 85 years - the Supersports sets a new benchmark for dynamic performance within the brand’s grand touring lineage.
