(Crewe, 15 November 2017) ‘The Spirit of Bentley’ is a limited edition coffee-table book which captures these extraordinary people and takes the theme of journeys to explore them in the context of contemporary Britain. Examining and expanding on the values that define Bentley’s spirit, various innovators and creative leaders such as Pink Floyd’s Nick Mason, interiors guru Kelly Hoppen, fashion designer Alice Temperley, car collector George Bamford, who founded the Bamford Watch Department, and pianist and band leader Jools Holland are depicted by three eminent photographers.

Parisian photographer Aline Coquelle contributes to international publications as she travels through Latin America, Asia and Africa, working only with silver film to keep alive the magic of traditional photography. Laziz Hamani works on location as well as using his highly developed studio techniques to create more than 30 art and luxury books, including more than 20 Assouline titles.

Winemaker, lecturer and raconteur Count Gelasio Gaetani d’Aragona Lovatelli brings his passions experience and traditions to bear on the words that accompany the portraits of Bentley’s extraordinary customers and friends.
