(Crewe, 11 June 2025)  Bentley Home announces its first ever picnic collection, Hyde, created in direct response to customer demand. With each piece designed to provide a practical and elegant outdoor dining experience, the new collection features four new product designs. At the same time, the luxury interiors brand launches a refreshed outdoor furniture offering in contemporary colours and finishes – a new take on Solstice, which was originally launched in 2022 and is a popular range at Bentley Home’s 60+ global retailers.

A woven picnic basket, with a two-tone, refined leather finish – a contrasting trim on top and basket interior - is available in Forest Green and Rust. Produced in a historic Tuscan factory, the basket is crafted using three thousand hand-knotted, cotton threads, forming an intricate diamond pattern. The yarn is sourced from recycled cotton fabrics and intricately woven in a combination of raw and waxed tones, creating a sophisticated interplay of texture and depth, perfectly coordinated with the leather upholstery of the set. Complementing the basket, is the choice of either a double or single bottle holder, to match the basket, and a generous woollen picnic blanket.

Inside the Bentley picnic basket is a joyfully curated selection of bespoke accessories (available in sets of four) that enhance the outdoor dining experience. Consisting of four Italian linen napkins featuring a refined hand-embroidered blanket stitch in a choice of Forest Green or Rust; four Murano glass champagne flutes with a Bentley logo on the base; a handcrafted leather cutlery case; four porcelain coffee cups; and four 16cm Desmond Plates, crafted from enamelled copper, with an ancient Italian ‘art du feu’ finish, a process that is often used by luxury jewellery manufacturers.

In addition, the Solstice collection - a range of outdoor furniture originally launched in 2022 - has been reimagined for 2025.

Conceived by renowned Bentley Home designer, Carlo Colombo, alongside the Bentley Motors design team, the outdoor furniture range includes a sofa, sunbed, armchair, pouffe, coffee and side table. Each piece features the iconic Bentley matrix grille, reminiscent of Bentley’s car designs. The collection introduces two refined, new finishes: rich, matte, lacquer in a choice of Forest Green or Burnt Orange - to complement the Hyde picnic set. The bold, nature-inspired tones highlight the contrast between the structural elements of the designs and the soft volumes of the upholstery. The new leather and natural fabric offering provides unique levels of extreme comfort and craft that the Bentley customer is accustomed to.

Ben Saltmer, Product and Lifestyle Design Manager at Bentley Motors, said, “We have been working on an outdoor dining offering to satisfy the demands of our customers for many years. The Hyde picnic collection is the result of hours of research and development, and we are thrilled to bring it to market. The deep Forest Green and Burnt Orange palette which carries through the entire outdoor collection is both bold and sophisticated - and perfectly in tune with our contemporary vision.  Craftsmanship, coupled with practicality, defines our outdoor furniture aesthetic for both the new Solstice pieces and Hyde, celebrating conviviality, timeless design and elegance.”

Andrea Gentilini, CEO of Luxury Living Group said: “Following the success of Bentley Home’s expanding retail presence – we now have more than 60 sites around the world – we have been able to closely monitor the demands from our customers for new, innovative product ranges. The new Hyde picnic set is produced in close collaboration with the finest craftspeople in Italy, but caters to the tastes, needs and lifestyle of our global customers across multiple international markets. The new collection perfectly complements the Solstice outdoor furniture collection, enhancing outdoor living, entertaining and dining – something we know Bentley Home customers appreciate.”
