Beyond100
Announced in 2020, Bentley’s ground-breaking Beyond100 strategy targets sustainable mobility leadership, reinventing every aspect of the business. Our ambitious aim is to be end-to-end carbon neutral by 2030, with Crewe operations climate positive thereafter.
Beyond100 builds on over two decades of forward-thinking, as Bentley moves towards an entire model range powered only by battery from 2030. The transformation represents an historic moment in an illustrious history stretching back to 1919.
That was the year our founder, Walter Owen (W.O.) Bentley, created the company with his simple and honest goal to build ‘a fast car, a good car, the best in class’. Those fundamental principles that shape us as the world’s most sought-after luxury car brand are little changed.
However, over 100 years later, Bentley has had to redefine those objectives to remain the foremost manufacturer in sustainable automotive luxury around the world. Our plan is to provide extraordinary mobility for the next century, creating a long-term, sustainable business model.
Being at the forefront of progress is part of our DNA. Bentley will continue to lead through its Beyond100 strategy and set a benchmark for the world’s luxury car industry.
Sustainability
Sustainability is key to Bentley’s industry-leading Beyond 100 strategy, driving the company’s mission to be end-to-end carbon neutral by 2030.
Bentley has confirmed it will only offer PHEV or BEV vehicles by 2026, switching the entire range to full electrification by 2030. As the leader in sustainable luxury mobility, Bentley’s Crewe headquarters is already the world’s first carbon neutral luxury car manufacturing plant.
Innovation
As the global leader in sustainable luxury transport, Bentley plans to provide extraordinary mobility for the next 100 years of its existence.
The company is developing a network of connected services, individual to the customer, which will be achieved through ground-breaking production visualisation, co-creation and a digital journey. Thanks to innovation and technology, Bentley is pioneering the future of luxury transportation.
Performance
Bentley’s electrified future was revealed in the all-electric EXP 100 GT concept car as part of the company’s 2019 centenary year. The world’s largest producer of 12-cylinder petrol engines already offers the most advanced 12-cylinder engine in history, the 659 PS (650 bhp) W12 TSI.
A sublimely powerful 4.0-litre V8 and a Hybrid powertrain returning exceptional levels of performance complete the Bentley line-up of exceptional powertrains.
Craftsmanship
A Bentley represents the pinnacle of luxury and craftsmanship, reflected in the skills, passion and pride of our people. Every Bentley is designed, manufactured and handcrafted in Crewe with the utmost care and attention to detail.
Whether exquisitely crafted wood, or indulgent hide trim, it is the renowned Bentley handcraftsmanship that creates the most sought-after luxury cars in the world.
