Dr. Matthias Rabe
Member of the bOard for engineering
Dr. Matthias Rabe joined Bentley Motors in September 2020 as Member of the Board for Engineering.
Prior to this, Rabe was Chief Technology Officer at Volkswagen Passenger Cars.
This followed a stint with SEAT where he headed the Research and Development division as a member of the Executive Board.
Rabe has had a 30-year career with the Volkswagen Group in a number of management positions.
This, amongst others, includes time in Shanghai where he was responsible for the Volkswagen Vehicle and Electronics department, later leading Group Research at Volkswagen AG and acting as Head of Body Development for Volkswagen Passenger Cars.
